Today I formally announce my candidacy for Garland City Council Place 8
While we can often be caught up in the drama of the national arena, the most important elections are those where we pick our local leaders. These leaders represent us in the decisions that affect us the most each and every day. Electricity, water, streets, sanitation, parks, planning and zoning touch every part of our lives. And yet, we know the least about the men and women who make decisions regarding these issues. During this campaign, we will have the opportunity to learn more about each other so that you understand my principles and I understand your needs.
And should you elect me in May 2017, I will have the honor of working side by side with you to represent you and your families as a member of the Garland City Council.
For the past few decades I have watched the city I love grow and establish itself as one of the brightest stars in Texas. I look forward to serving all of you as a councilman, and I humbly ask for your support in the months to come.
